BESS.EGV-IAF
BESS.EGV-IAF offers proven EGV deflagration venting performance with insulation placed on the inside of the panel, facing the BESS interior. Insulation properties can be customized to suit any BESS design.
Application
BESS.EGV-IAF is the most economical solution for deflagration venting when insulation is needed. Panels are installed on the BESS roof and vent deflagrations upward to a safe location. The standard burst pressure is 0.1 bar at 22 °C (71.6°F), but can be modified to suit any BESS design, as low as 0.025 bar.
Mechanism
When pressure rises during a deflagration, the vent opens at the defined breaking point and releases pressure out of the BESS into the surrounding area.
