Application
BESS.IKLI-EGV is installed at the BESS roof and vents deflagrations upward to a safe location. Insulation is housed inside a metal cassette on top of the deflagration vent panel. The standard burst pressure is 0.1 bar at 22 °C (71.6°F), but can be modified to suit any BESS design, as low as 0.025 bar.
Mechanism
When pressure rises during a deflagration, the vent opens at the defined breaking point and releases pressure out of the BESS into the surrounding area.
